Yasmine currently works as an associate producer for NBC News Investigations, where she has reported on a range of human-interest driven investigations on issues spanning looted art, human rights abuses, forced migration, Middle Eastern politics, war crimes and fraud schemes. Her skills include reporting, documentary production, short-form production, writing, editing, interviewing and in-depth research.

At Georgetown's School of Foreign Service, Yasmine graduated magna cum laude in May 2020. She studied International Affairs with a major in culture and politics (BSc). Her thesis dealt with the representation of women in pre-revolutionary Egyptian cinema, which was subsequently awarded honors.
Yasmine was a leader in The Hoya, Georgetown University's newspaper of record, serving as Executive Editor. She received Georgetown's Edward B. Bunn award for Journalistic Excellence in 2018 for her reporting on socio-economic inclusivity on campus.
Yasmine was born and raised in London to Egyptian and Greek parents, shaping her interests in world politics, identity and media. She is fluent in Spanish and Arabic and speaks intermediate Greek.
